Creating a pair of bedside lamps

I recently worked on a tailor made project for bedside lights. My client wanted two identical pendant lights that were lightweight, compact and would blend seamlessly into their newly renovated bedroom.

We worked closely together to decide on the combinations of stoneware, and I then sketched out several design concepts on paper to ensure we met their expectations exactly. We decided to go with a teardrop shape, an assembly of two pieces in white and anthracite ceramic to create a uniform look.

Each piece incorporates a flat, discreet LED that diffuses a soft, subdued and warm light, ideal for creating a soothing atmosphere.

Every project is exciting, punctuated by moments of self-reflection, setbacks and pushing oneself to new heights.

My determination drives me to go beyond my limits, to learn and grow through every experience, to make tomorrow an even brighter day.
